Matsumura Blues Festival Inc is an incorporated association which organises occasional live music events in victoria, australia. our focus is on delivering memorable live music experiences, by selecting high calibre, diverse original artists and skilled animators, to offer something quite unique.

Our events are mostly based indoors in an intimate setting.

Jailhouse Concert Series 2025

Commencing in June 2025, Matsumura will present a new concert series in the heart of Kew, Victoria.It will take place at the historic Kew Court House which has been redeveloped into a live performance space. This venue will showcase the talents of selected original artists to join the concert series line-up, with a focus on blues, soul, roots, folk and country music.

our inaugural concert has recently been announced. it will feature the exceptional duo, Come Heavy Sleep (Rosie Luby & Kier Stevens) on Saturday, 7 June 2025. This will be followed by the second concert on Saturday, 16 August 2025, featuring the powerhouse kiwi band, Sonorous (NZ).the third concert will take place on Saturday, 4 October 2025 featuring Ingrid and the Ministers.

we hope you will join us for the launch and become one of our foundation concert goers! tickets will go on sale soon - get in quick as we will only have 80 to sell for each concert!
